English: Paul Van Nevel (February 4, 1946) is a Flemish conductor, musicologist and art historian. In 1971 he founded the Huelgas Ensemble, a choir dedicated to polyphony from the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. Van Nevel is known for hunting out little known polyphonic medieval works to perform.
Nederlands: Paul Van Nevel ( 4 februari 1946) is een Vlaams dirigent, musicoloog en kunsthistoricus. In 1971 richtte hij het Huelgas Ensemble op, een koor dat zich toelegt op polyfonie, vocale muziek uit de Middeleeuwen en de Renaissance.
